Bought a 50" HDTV!!

Every year I consider that but I already have a big screen TV. Someone asked me tonight why I started buying season tickets for a team that is so consistently horrible and I had a hard time answering. Why the heck did I do that? I must have had a lot of money left over that year.

I can tell you're getting tired of going to games like I did. Preseason really chapped my butt. Seriously paying full price for games I could barely watch a quarter or half before leaving. What killed me more was I had to stop buying beer and any food at the dome. It got where I could spend an extra $60 to $80 on gameday, which stunk!

I wish I could talk face to face with the marketing people. For season ticket holders, preseason tickets should be free and then just add the price to the regular season tickets so the face value would go up when you sell those. Non-season ticket holders should have to pay something but not full price.

The defense played well. I like to see that. Glenn Foster had a nice game.

I didnt realise you got stung for full price on preseason games. The soccer games in the UK are normally a little cheaper but the normal season are are getting ridiculous. I have not been to watch my team in years.I live miles away and the price of travel, tickets, hotel anf food when set me back loads.

Sports dont belong to the fans anymore, all the teams care about is the numbers and how tight they can turn the screw before people dont go.

May I assume you missed the first 10 minutes when the chefs starting offense was on the field? They waltzed through our 1st defense like we were playing with 8.

I dunno. I listened to the first half, so no video for me, but I'll watch it tomorrow on DVR.

I'm never looking for much in the pre-season, especially the first game of the pre-season. It sounds like there was some good and some bad. Did anyone really expect much more (or less)?

The problem is that they've turned it as tight as it will go. Fans just can't afford another ticket price increase but the players keep wanting more and more. It's at a saturation point.

Well it's better to finish well than to start well. The Chiefs got, what, like 215 yards total offense in the game. It seems to be our defense overall is going to be quite a bit better than last year. I don't care about ten minutes in a game. I care about the final outcome. Holding a team to such a tiny amount of yards and only 13 points is a good outcome.
