Saints looking for WR Kenny Stills to step up and take bigger role in receiving corps
 

New Orleans WR Kenny Stills is the Saints' No. 3 receiver, but the arrival of veteran Steve Breaston will give him some competition to deal with.

The loss of WR Joe Morgan who was projected to be the team's No. 3 wideout leaves Stills with the opportunity to be the opening day No. 3 receiver.

Breaston could eventually press Stills, but that Stills has a significant advantage having gone through the offseason training program.

Stills has 4.38 wheels and a nasty competitive streak and could make a name for himself if he can hold off Breaston. He critiqued his play after the Saints preseason game win.

"A little bit of good, a little bit of bad," Stills said, via the Sun-Herald.com.

"It's good to be able to get those jitters out of the way," he said. "Just get out there and stop thinking so much and start playing. "

"The tempo wasn't quite what we wanted," quarterback Drew Brees said. "We had some mental errors here and there. We were not as crisp as we would want. I think once we got going things started to roll a little bit. "

As much as I've talked him up to friends and family, he better produce. I saw him a lot at OU so I hope he lives up to my hype

I think Stills is gonna be a stud, Im excited about the future at wide out with Stills And Toon.

Speed kills.............but you've got to catch the ball and run the routes like Drew wants in order to be successful on this team.

Ended up having his best season in our superbowl year and had a very good game in the SB

Good ol Lester Hayes...he couldn't just apply a little. His uniform was down right filthy in pre game warmup.
