New Orleans Saints linebacker Curtis Lofton leaves Monday's practice early
It was another hot morning Monday at New Orleans Saints camp. It may have affected linebacker Curtis Lofton, who left practice early with a trainer.
Saints coach Sean Payton said he thought Lofton was cramping due to the heat and didn't think it was serious. Linebacker Jonathan Vilma, who sat out Friday's game and Sunday's practice, participated fully Monday. Linebacker Chris Chamberlain was the newest Saint to sit out practice for an unspecified reason, along with running back Pierre Thomas, linebackers Junior Galette, Martez Wilson and Ray Shipman, and offensive linemen Andrew Tiller and Eric Olsen.
