Sean Payton is back after getting a year of his NFL life stolen from him... We now have a young, faster defensive line to get after the quarterback and shut down running lanes... We now have the young, fast complementary receivers in Stills and Toon to add to a great tandem in Colston and Moore... Speaking of tandems, there isn't a better tandem in the league than Graham and Watson... We finally have a strong safety that can actually cover and hit receivers in rookie Kenny Vaccaro... Keenan Lewis will be opposite Jabari Greer... Defensive line rotation of Jordan, Foster, Hicks, Walker, Bunkley and Jenkins - let's see how that geauxs... |

And linebacker Curtis Lofton has never made any secret of the personal passion that comes into play when these two teams meet, since he's now been on both sides of the rivalry.
"For me, I try to treat every single game the same. I don't put any more emphasis on any single game," said Lofton, who spent his first four years with the Falcons before joining the Saints last year. "But it is a rivalry. Last games I went to were way too "corporate"... ...sure there were still some sections that reminded me of the Dome Patrol days, but the overall feel was a country club, corporate catered event like the English Turn Crowd... ...we just need a few more Bill Murray, Chevy Chase, and Rodney Dangerfield types to liven up the party... |
