I think the coaching staff has moved on. But he's better than a LOT of alternatives if certain unfavorable conditions occur.

The young guys look good. Unless Colston or Moore goes down for an extended period, I don't see it happening.

Here's my take on the WR issue. I really see the recent signings as a way to keep the "camp pressure" on the young guys. I think our WR corps week one (barring injury) looks like this...
Colston, Moore, Stills, Toon, Roby, Breaston/Parker.
Payton and Loomis brought in guys like Breaston and Crayton to push the kids...

While I wouldn't mind it I don't see it happening until the second week of the season when he no longer gets his contract guaranteed.

He looked like he lost a step or two last year. He also looked unenthused.

It was another brilliant move by the front office. Let him spend a few weeks with the Redskins, learn all of RGIII's secret moves. The same goes for McCown. Who do we play in the first game? Brilliant!! I can see it now "FreeAgent Gate" "Saints put on NFL Double Secret Probation!"

Brees likely extended his career. I remember early ion he dropped a decent amount of balls. After he had lasik he improved some but he never really got beyond ok. As a blocker though, one of the best. The man could level people which makes me think he probably should have played another position. If we get banged up I could see him coming back but right now we have an arsenal of young hungry targets.
