Jimmy Graham: We’re more dynamic offensively than we’ve ever been
1 Attachment(s)
From the bounty suspensions in the offseason to a losing record on the field, last year was not a good one for the Saints as a team.
It also wasn’t an ideal one for tight end Jimmy Graham as an individual. His 85 receptions for 982 yards and nine touchdowns weren’t bad, but they were a drop from his spectacular 2011 campaign and they came through gritted teeth as Graham fought a wrist injury that he described as “very difficult” this week and which required surgery in the offseason. Graham is healthy now, though, and he feels ready to join up with quarterback Drew Brees to take things up to an even higher level than he was at in the 2011 season. And he believes the same goes for the entire offense. “Drew and I are already in mid-season form,” Graham said, via Jim Corbett of USA Today. “Right now, we’re more dynamic offensively than we’ve ever been.” The prospect of a Saints offense that’s more dynamic than it has been in the past is one that should make for some uncomfortable defensive coordinators around the league. And if Graham’s read is correct, it should make for a pretty good year to use as a springboard for talks on a contract extension. The dude has to say something.
I guess y'all are unfamiliar with this hy·per·bo·le [hahy-pur-buh-lee] Show IPA noun Rhetoric . 1. obvious and intentional exaggeration. 2. an extravagant statement or figure of speech not intended to be taken literally, as “to wait an eternity.” |

I like the Dude and I am hoping that Henry Ellard will find a way to fix the dropsies.

Curtis Johnson made them look field ready. He knew what each receiver needed to be their best. I knew that we were going to miss him and have said so repeatedly. Our WR's don't look as polished to me. Just look at what he did for Lance Moore.
