I think most people are quite critical of their players. One way of looking at is that they give a damn, which in turn means they are offering their support. Another way would of course mean that they are just unfairly knocking their team.

Anyway, i'm going to spout off about how I go a few times a year and I'm from England so I represent Mega fan-dom ;)

On another note, I was at the Atlanta road game last year and in fairness to the guy, a Falcons fan started speaking to me and told me how nice it was to see a full stadium and with so much support. In his own words he said it was disappointing the Falcons fans are only filling the stadium because the team is doing well and that when they played Chicago, there were more Urlacher shirts in the stadium than any Falcons player!

I think we're third, as the very least.
I would allow Green Bay to be above us, because they have to sit in a
Freezer.

Maybe the Jets, because they've had as many bad seasons as us, and
their recent history really sux.... worse than we have over the long
haul.

As far as blasting our own players, I dont get that. Until I, myself, can
suit up and do a better job, I dont see a need to appoint any of our guys
Team Goat. I see every player as somebody's kid. And I dont suffer from Dollar Envy, so their salary is irrelevant. If you got off your fat ass and exercised every day, you could make a million dollars too. Plus you couldnt take one single practice- you'd run away crying. So I support your right to hate on Jason David, or Fred Thomas, or Johnnie Poe, or whoever. I just think its dumb.

This does not apply to kickers. You should burn kickers in effigy, when they
mess up, and also slap their mothers.

Back on topic - We are the best fans in sports, especially you old guys.
