Kenny Stills and Nick Toon
Kenny stills - first off, wow what an improvement
Caught everything thrown his way, brees looked for him countless times and obviously trusted him and I loved that toe tapper TD, showed great concentration Nick Toon - Wasn't involved as much as i would have liked but he burned tracy porter for a huge gain, someone said he was a faster version of colston and I can see why Im really liking the look of our young WR's Just hope colston gets healthy soon |

Re: Kenny Stills and Nick Toon
It was only the Raiders. Its still preseason. Lets not get to worked up over it. Trade Lance Moore are you crazy.

Re: Kenny Stills and Nick Toon
No worries on the loss of Meachem and Henderson, the Saints have simply reloaded. They're still young and could use a little more experience, but man is the talent there!

I have not had the opportunity to ever go to football training. In Florida I have been to a lot of spring training & those players (especially the elites) can be some real *****s about signing autographs. i guess it is one of the reasons I don't do baseball much anymore ( that & I am a Cubs fan :help: ) |

But then again I do not recall Meachem and Devery ever tearing it up in the preseason either, lets see what these 2 guys do in regular season, I think Stills could very well be the next Devery but quicker. |

It's funny because I got on here this morning to see if everyone else was as ecstatic as I am about the Toon/Stills combo and lo and behold this topic! I have seen the future and the future looks amazing! Just imagine Colston, Moore, Stills, Toon and Graham all on the field at the same time... No-one can stop that. I'm drooling a little LOL.

Re: Kenny Stills and Nick Toon
Why would we trade our locked in number 2 wide receiver when we already have Morgan out?
|
Re: Kenny Stills and Nick Toon
Parker is the real deal as well. Showed some special teams flash last night.

Re: Kenny Stills and Nick Toon
I was a little bummed that we didn't see Andy Tanner.

Re: Kenny Stills and Nick Toon
Very nice game by both Stills and Toon. Hopefully they will keep it up enough so that the Saints can tell Breaston and Crayton, "thanks but we don't need you after all."

He lives most of the year in Anchorage. He comes every summer and we attend all of the open practices. If you ever have an opportunity to attend, the players are all very nice and take the time for pictures. All except Drew. He signs autos every day and doesn't have time to stop for pix. He is mobbed, as you probably suspect. The team does it right. Another reason to love our Saints. |

I missed TC this year. The Saints are a class act and they love to interact with the public.:bng: |
Re: Kenny Stills and Nick Toon
They both looked good but it was the Raiders

Re: Kenny Stills and Nick Toon
I think it's pretty safe to say that sean will never draft a wr in the first round:)

Re: Kenny Stills and Nick Toon
Long time lurker, first time poster.
I see Stills as an amped up Lance Moore. Like Lance Moore running on jet fuel. I think it will take him a season or so to reach his potential, but I think on this team he can be a poor man's (but not very poor) Victor Cruz, and that's no knock on Stills. Toon, I see as Marques Colston's little brother trying to follow in his big brother's footsteps (again, not a knock on Toon in any way). I would love for him to follow Colston around in practice hanging on to everything he learns from Colston. In the same way that Chase Daniel was said to "be in Drew's back pocket" during TC, practices and on gameday, Toon should learn everything he can from Colston. They're are future #1 and #2, I have no doubt about it. |
Re: Kenny Stills and Nick Toon
i Loved what i saw as well. and was so excited when Stills was selected this year! big surprise but for some reason when i saw stills on the board that late and it was our turn to pick i was hoping the saints selected him but thought it was a long shot. to say the least, I was overjoyed it played out the way it did. i was telling my brother before and friday nite only confirmed in a way that i believe Still can be a star in this league. hybrid slot/out wide receiver...kind of like a mixture of Danny Amendola/Victor Cruz/Randall Cobb, Which says alot. but we can only wait and see if the Kid reaches his full potential and hopefully with Sean and Drew he will.

Re: Kenny Stills and Nick Toon
big time step up for sure. Micky loves the cap numbers with both

Re: Kenny Stills and Nick Toon
Toon does have that baby Colston vibe about him. Catching all those little slants and screens, breaking tackles for first downs, and then going deep on you down the sideline with a back shoulder catch when you stop paying attention.
I figured Stills would be one of those guys that sits out his first year but if he can keep playing like this he'll be getting real playing time. I'm barely concerned even if Colston and Moore both miss games at the same time during the season. |
