New Orleans Saints defensive end Cameron Jordan is a flat-out beast! I'm thoroughly convinced he could play any position in any defensive alignment.

His size, quickness and agility is virtually without peer. His power may be only superseded by his non-stop motor. And his versatility begets pressure in the form of sacks and quarterback hurries. He's simply an albatross to offensive lineman and offensive schemes alike.

Early on in training camp there was a comment by the coaching staff that with the multitude of formations being installed, he would actually move inside to the tackle position on Dime passing downs; think it was during an interview it a basketball game in a local gymnasium...

Think he'll really shine back at the 34 End position he's familiar from college...

This D-line looks to be legit. No pre-season mirage, since we saw both Jordan and Hicks grow last year and since Bunkley has already proven his worth as a NT in Denver.

The young and hungry D-line talent right behind them should lessen the pain of what most consider an average group of LB's, albeit with a lot of potential.

Exactly. While I was reading the article I was thinking of coverage. The faster the pocket collapses the less time opposing receivers will have to get open and the more the qb has to scramble or slide, the fewer reads he is going to make.

It's cliche' but there is truth to the saying, the game is won and lost in the trenches.

Love watching Cam play, especially last year vs falcons when his helmet got hit off and he still ran down michael turner and floored him
