Need to make 5 moves by my count by 3:00. Smith and Morgan can be 2, who else?

There are so many different ways that Payton and Loomis could do this.

Visanthe Shiancoe, what happened to this guy? He was supposed to be a star. Is he worth a look?

Any tackles or LBs in that group worth it?

Why do we need to take a look at another TE? We have 2 of the best already in Graham/Watson?

Aaron Curry was suppose to be one of the safest players in his draft class. It's amazing how so many people missed the boat on that one.

He was called the most "can't miss" prospect of the decade.

I watched a lot of college ball and more than a fair share of Wake Forest games, how he became this big of a flop is amazing. Dude was a high character hard worker, football IQ was suppose to be high, and just made plays after plays. As big as a bust Jamarcus Russell was, at least there were plenty of skeptics questioning how he would be as a pro.

I'd say he was a bigger bust than Jamarcus considering that.

My own theory on this is that I believe they have offensive roster cuts that they don't want to make. I think they may be letting everybody else announce their cuts first, so that teams start scrambling to look at people, making phone calls, booking plane tickets, and starting on filling their holes, giving those other teams slightly less of a crack at the Saints' cut players who will be announced last. In particular I suspect it's something borderline like Cadet/Robinson situation, or Roby or one of the other wide receivers -- they want to cut the guy and NOT have anybody else sign him, so they can keep him around and maybe sign them again later.

Payton always says that thing to players about, if you don't make it with the Saints he wants you to have a chance to be seen on film and fit in somewhere else, and he's all cordial about it. Those guys are already gone (Seneca Wallace, Chase Thomas). These cuts here are the ones somebody in the coaching staff wishes he could keep. That's kinda why I think they're stalling in announcing them, while everybody else is going crazy with announcements all day today.
