Re: Andy Tanner!!!!
Has everything a receiver needs except room on the roster.
He could definitely fill in if we need him on 3rd and 7. Good routes, good hands, and "enough" speed/quickness/separation to get the job done. I've always liked his stuff. He works hard and his effort is contagious. I'm still hoping he makes the squad. Catching a Brees ball doesn't hurt either. |
Re: Andy Tanner!!!!
Well after all the balls he dropped last night, I'm not sure he'll be around next week.

I'm guessing Reddick, RJohnson, Tanner, and Sweeting probably wouldn't clear either. |
Re: Andy Tanner!!!!
Oh right. I didn't literally mean EVERYONE, I meant more like "every diamond-in-the-rough UDFA or rookie or bubble player that Saints fans are really stoked on, right now this minute." I meant guys like Ryan Griffin and Khiry. I think Khiry is great, but I think every team has a 4th RB they think is just like him, right about now. I could see him making it to the PS.
On second thought, Tanner might not make it through waivers, you're right. He has a resume. But some of these other guys, have much more of a chance to go unclaimed than some people realize. It's not like Ryan Griffin is going to go off and start for some other team. Of course, Kenny Vaccaro would not make it ten minutes on waivers, before getting picked up! |
Re: Andy Tanner!!!!
Tanner dropped two really catchable balls.
Both on 3rd down conversion plays... Is the Griffin ball rotation that much different than Brees'? It's decision time and those two drops are fresh images. |
