I'll do this list as realistically as possible. We only carry 45 on game day so lets see if i can get this right.

***OFFENSE***
QB: Drew Brees * Luke McCown
RB: Pierre Thomas * Darren Sproles * Mark Ingram * Travaris Cadet
WR: Marques Colston * Lance Moore * Nick Toon * Kenny Stills
TE: Jimmy Graham * Benjamin Watson
FB: Jed Collins
T: Charles Brown * Zach Strief * Terron Armstead * Bryce Harris
G: Jahri Evans * Ben Grubbs * Tim Lelito
C: Brian de la Puente

***DEFENSE*** 21 PLAYERS
DT: John Jenkins * Brodrick Bunkley
DE: Cameron Jordan * Akiem Hicks * Glenn Foster * Tyrunn Walker
OLB : Martez Wilson * Junior Galette * Parys Haralson
ILB : Curtis Lofton * Ramon Humber * Kevin Reddick * David Hawthorne
CB: Jabari Greer * Keenan Lewis * Rod Sweeting * Patrick Robinson
S: Kenny Vaccaro * Roman Harper * Malcolm Jenkins * Rafael Bush

***SPECIAL TEAMS*** 3 PLAYERS
LS: Justin Drescher
K: Garrett Hartley
P: Thomas Morstead

Selfishly I'd like to put Khiry Robinson on here instead but I don't think he'll crack in just yet. As of now Cadet is more proven on Special Teams. Tanner also doesn't get in the game or likely any game this season barring an injury. Herring is a good special teamer as well but Reddick and Humber have shown up well in that area and are much better ILBs as well. Johnson takes a seat and after a terrible 4th preseason game, White also sits this one out with Sweeting outshining pretty much everyone in the CB group so far, he deserves the spot. Rookie TE Josh Hill has done less than nothing so he definitely takes a seat. IAQ and Vilma are injured and from what I hear and see they don't look to be ready for week 1 so they sit out as well.

Any of the 8 guys I left off you think will be in? Tell me who and who comes out if they go in. And this is all of course keeping in mind that I still think there are some trades, cuts, and free agent signings to come. But this is what we have so this is what i have to pick from.

I'm hoping to see Robinson get a shot, too. While I'm not quite ready to give up on Ingram, I feel like there is a distinct possibility that Robinson could be "the future" for us. He has looked that special to me in the preseason. He definitely needs to get in better shape though. No pro athlete should be puking mid-game.

Love the Thread Title...

Make adjustments for
T Harris or Armstead will sit...we won't carry that many Tackles...
LB Will Herring will see the field because of special teams and because he can slide to outside linebacker (we've got two guys comin off injury, regardless of Payton Possum Ploys, and one guys who's still learnin the D-language)...

LB Reddick will sit and allow for DB Corey White who does alot of things on special teams, including gunnar...

I'm thinking Cadet and Sproles will alternate... I'm confident that both can bust a big return...

Don't see PT returning kicks unless its a major emergency.

My money says that Sproles sees the majority of the returns. Cadet seemed to hit a wall last year and never really contributed in special teams. His return average was not worth the risk of running it out of the end zone and fumbling or giving us poor starting field position.

If Ingram's role is to be expanded, then I can see PT, Sproles and Moore handling return duties...
