Potential has to develop. He won't be ready this year. Dunbar can contribute right now! That 4-game suspension is my only turn off.

Dunbar is only 6'0 226 lbs. that's not cool in the 3-4; Reddick on the other hand is more the prototypical MLB size 6'3" 240 lbs...

Dunbar doesn't even know the system yet. We have more than enough ILB's to compensate for Vilma's loss.

What do you need Dunbar for, Hawthorne/Lofton/Humber/Herring is a fine group of inside linebackers even without Vilma.

Dunbar played inside and outside for us. He's pretty decent in coverage too. He was versatile. The Rams fans are mad he's gone.

And why is Herring still here. Please cut him

Herring had a good camp (3rd best LB grade on our roster), and plays special teams pretty well.

Definitely would not even think about signing him until week 5.
