Fully burdened Salary Cap deadline is today
 
Thus far the Salary Cap has been a top 51 number. Today all 53 + PS+ IR + injury settlements etc... Fully burdened. By 4pm.

Huh. Sorry to be moron. What exactly does all that mean?

We have to sign & account for everyone team, PS, IR, etc. today & be under the salary cap. (Yes?)

Up until today only the top 51 players were counted against the cap. Now the whole boat counts... Pretty much all but coaches.

Sort of on the extreme side but an example. If we have $100 in cap room after everything is accounted for, Sean Payton can't take the team to dinner. Dinner is compensation and counts against the cap if the team pays for it.
