ESPN First Take prediction
I watched ESPN First Take this afternoon and they talked about the Saints/Falcons game and surprisingly both Skip and Stephen A. picked the Saints to win. However, both believe it will be close. Stephen A. has the Saints winning 37-31, Skip predicted Saints 41-38. Both admitted they like Atlanta but think the momentum is on the Saints side for this one. I agree about with them about who wins, but my gut feeling is telling me we might have a blowout.

Re: ESPN First Take prediction
This matchup is rarely a blowout.

Re: ESPN First Take prediction
31-27 saints we score late in the 4th to win

Re: ESPN First Take prediction
Stephen A. Smith keeps mentioning Henderson as our 3rd weapon. He keeps calling us the worse defense im history. He really doesn't know anything about football. He needs to stick to basketball.
Skip thinks the losses of Vilma and Smith are huge. Evidently he hasn't watched a Saints game since the Super Bowl. While I agree that we'll win, Skip thinks we'll be 3rd in the division and won't make the playoffs. Stephen A. thinks we'll make it as a 6th seed. IDC for either prediction. |

"They talked about it"
I talk about of a lot of things I know nothing about also.... Talking is not an educated discussion. May as well get Saints information from Al Roker. |
Re: ESPN First Take prediction
Well some dumb arse on NFL Fantasy predicted 35-21 Clowns. He said Roddy White was going to go off on us.

Re: ESPN First Take prediction
I read a couple of places how losing Smith at DE was huge. I think only Saints fans knew he wasn't playing that position and was never going to be a big factor either way.
The Falcons have some old players; Gonzalez, Roddy, and Jackson. Falcons don't have the ability to develop players and it's going to costs them. Maybe not this game but later in the season those guys are going to start dragging or get hurt. Roddy is already hurt. |

Re: ESPN First Take prediction
Not directed at anyone in particular. Are we gluttons for punishment or just wired to commiserate?
We are Saints fans so we had no choice but to put up with decades of bad team... We do not have to entertain bad press, bad opinion, or outright stupidity. The base assumption is that ESPiN, Clayton, Yastankas, etc.... are either on another bandwagon or clueless. Why read their crap... Spread their crap... Label the crap, crap? |

Expect to see the "analysts" stick with the Falcons until mid-season when it finally clicks that this team does not have what it takes to be a Superbowl contender. |
