He is AP and he's gonna' break one now and then, but they pretty much contained him ... take away that 78yd gain and he's something like 17 carries for 15yds. A healthy, motivated Fairley has always been the key, IMO.

I've been a harsh critic of that d/line and felt they've underperformed in the past, but they showed me they may finally live up to their billing this season.

Same for the offense, Reggie-between-the-tackles is what I wanted to see and the sophomore O/T Reilly Reif did a decent job with Jared Allen. Ironic, isn't it? The Lions new running game consists of Joique Bell/Reggie Bush ... what they trying to do? Be the Saints? .

Totally agree Slo-Mo, 17 carries for 15 yards sounds about right. At least he had a big play, he did that every now and then down here too. Also on the plus side, he made it through the game without a fumble or getting injured.
