After Victory over Falcons, Saints Defensive Coordinator Rob Ryan Rolls into Uptown Bar and Buys a Round for Everyone
 

According to the Nola Defender Blog, Saints defensive coordinator Rob Ryan celebrated his defensive performance and opening week victory over the Atlanta Falcons (AKA Dirty Birds) by rolling into Ms. Mae’s bar and buying a round of drinks for the entire bar.

The Saints hired Rob Ryan to pick up the pieces from a disastrous defensive season for the Black and Gold in 2012 where it finished as arguably the worst defense in NFL history. Coach Spagnoluo was fired by returning Coach Sean Payton after his Boutygate hiatus.

Although many fans had doubts about the former Dallas Cowboy defensive coordinator, Ryan pulled together a mentally battered defense employed mixed defensive schemes against the Falcons which ultimately led to a Saints victory. Ryan's coaching performance on Sunday has left an impression with fans that 'Rob is definitely no Rex'.

I’m actually starting to like this guy more and more, and I’m sure the most colorful City of New Orleans feels the same. Sounds like Rob Ryan may find his home in New Orleans – but let’s just hope this defense keeps up the good work.

Spags would've probably complained that the bar didn't have any Michelob Ultra and left in a huff because he refused to make adjustments to his drinking game-plan. LOL

I admit, when the Saints hired him, I wasn't thrilled with the pick. But he's winning me over. I like the swagger he's bringing back to that defense. And he fits Louisiana like a native. And most importantly, the players look like they're having fun on the field. Last year they looked like they were taking a math test during a rectal exam.

I think the pic has been photo-shopped. Ryan's gut is bigger than that. Or maybe he just found the mufflaletta stash at Central Grocery. But, yeah, I think he's found a home in NOLA with all that wild hair.

His reaction when harper picked that ball really made me smile, going crazy while vaccaro was coming off the field and then fist pumping to the crowd, i was NFL mic'd that game so we could hear it all

I like his attitude, its exactly what our D needed since GW's departure

The people of new orleans will certainly warm to him quickly, first his defense wins the game and then he buys drinks for everyone

Alot of people didnt want him as our DC, i think we made a good choice
