Richard Seymour?
With the Broderick Bunkly injury the we should make a call to Richard and see what he has left in the tank if it don't cost too much.i think he would be a nice pick up .what you guys think?

Re: Richard Seymour?
I said it in preseason but he has already said he wouldnt come back to the Raiders on the cheap. He is only interested in cash by the sound of things

Re: Richard Seymour?
youth would be a move i would support most. aging vet on defense? lets take our bumps and bruises and grow this year

Re: Richard Seymour?
It really depends on how long Bunkley will be out.

Re: Richard Seymour?
Several weeks. Which means anywhere from 4 to the whole season.

Re: Richard Seymour?
Seymour, i think he could help.

Re: Richard Seymour?
I'd rather see them bring in a more NT type of a D-lineman if they were to add someone on top of Richardson.
Seymour is more of a DT type and he wouldn't come to NOLA on the cheap. UDFA could also be the way to go if they are confident in Jenkins taking the majority of the snaps at nose. |

Quote:
Now Tyrunn Walker is an excellent rotation player; not being PC because Walker can play effectively, a backup rides the pine... But Hagan and I must have the same diet, because Saints should stay conscientious in their personnel management of keeping a healthier mix of youth in the team chemistry... I stand by my criticism of Harper and Smith for example; and I truly never want to see them hurt; but the silver lining has been that we've needed younger, hungrier personnel at those critical positions; the coaches loyalty to those players has been part of the limit to this team's success; and the silver lining is these younger players are having a huge impact now; we should stay with that philosophy (as the Steelers do) and bring in a younger, fresher, coachable player who could work into the rotation... |
Re: Richard Seymour?
I think bringing him in would be a good move. He knows Rob Ryans system . I'm not saying sign him to a long term deal but a one year deal. He is able to push the pile and possible be a good mentor for young Jenkins.I agree with the going Young but at this point anyone young is already spoken for. He's a guy that would create pressure. On the plus side his contract should we sign him wouldn't be guaranteed

Re: Richard Seymour?
No, he is done. Ask any Raiders fan, he was stealing his paycheck. I'd rather have Hampton or Kemoatu if it's just a one-year deal.
