Two and Eaux

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I know Tampa has a much much improved defense, but damn, our O-line looked pathetic. And it wasn't just our OT's either. Brees has always played bad against zone teams that apply pressure. You never take points off the board. ...

You never take points off the board. Dumb decision.

Why in the hell do you run it 3 times from the 1 against the best run defense in the NFL?

Our D-line gave it all they had, but they were spent in the 4th. But they never quit. Damn proud of them.

Vaccaro is gonna be a star, but he took a step backwards today. Late a lot.

That Schiano dude has a bucketful of Jerk in him.

I didn't think Ingram could look worse than last week, but he did.

Our whole team looked slow and sluggish. Weather? Grass? Wet field?

unless you get the TD

because an nfl team should get one yard...

Hmm, I think they're missing Aaron Kromer; Chicago ol looking solid

Re: Two and Eaux

I'm not so sure if it's losing Kromer or switching to more of a zone blocking scheme?!

Who knows...

Re: Two and Eaux

It certainly looked like neither team wanted to win today and were begging the other to take it out. LOTS of questionable play calling and LOTS of questionable plays.

1. Taking 3 off the board to give it to Ingram.
2. Running the ball on 2rd and 17 late in the game.
3. Drew throwing 2 inexcusable INTs
4. Not spiking the ball on the last drive /w no timeouts (if Colston doesn't catch that ball, the chances we win are nill).

In the end, we didn't seem to want it bad, but we wanted it more than they did. Thanks to Tampa for snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.
