I seriously doubt it. If one of our guys hit one of their guys like that Goodell would have them thrown out of the league. Ill be pissed if these guys get a pass and Vaccaro didn't.

I think theyll have a fine, melvin ingram of the chargers did the same thing to brees last year and got a fine for it

Helmet to helmet almost literally guarantees a fine, especially how they both got blasted

Pretty sure the Bucs pulled more dirty headhunting crap in this one game alone than the Saints did total in the supposed "bounty" era.

They were headhunting alright, always when we play the Bucs.

If I remember correctly, I heard/read about that Yucc's defense taking out 3 players on the Jets offense (if I'm not mistaken). I don't know, maybe it's just me but, it seemed that their defense were out to end the careers of Brees, and especially Jimmy. When they sent out the injury squad for Jimmy, and they let him stay in the game, Greg Shiano (or however the hell you spell it.) was having a freaking fit, which made it just that more obvious they were trying to take Jimmy out of the game. Hell, it almost looks like their HC and owner approved of this.

Now, they have what? 23 Penalties? and half of them are probably Unnecessary Roughness. The Jets lost 3 players, and I think we were lucky to not lose anybody important offensively. I was freaking scared for Jimmy's/Colston's life any time they caught something in the middle of the field.

Now, if Goodell doesn't investigate this teams defense, then this just totally proves that he screwed us by using us as a scapegoat. He should also look at another team that I won't mention the name of. (Here's a hint; their colors are red and gold).

Sorry for the rant, I'm just tired of Godhell having it out for us, and trying to make the NFL "Safer", but not looking at the teams causing the most injuries.

I'm ranting again, so I'm just gonna go to sleep.

Goodell has opened up a big can o' worms with this "fine" bull**** ... player's are already taking 'falls' for the camera, ie Michael Vick, looking for the flag, ... fines/calls that should/could be levied aren't, and fines/calls that shouldn't be are being levied ... there's no consistency.

The games are going to turn into flag-fests before it's all over ... mark my words,.

There'll be a pretty big one coming for the hit on Jimmy. The nfl is pretty much after the Bucs' secondary already.

Here's a kinda' interesting article on the point I'm trying to make with this whole 'fine' business ... it outlines the inconsistency of fines between offensive/defensive players making the same blocks/play ...

Quote:

Ian Williams was exactly three plays into his first game as a starter for the San Francisco 49ers when he got cut-blocked and crumpled to the CenturyLink turf in agony. Dirty play? In the bubble-wrap NFL of 2013, you'd think so, but no ... this was perfectly legal.

Williams was helped to the locker room, and the resulting diagnosis was not promising: he had broken an ankle and was out for the year.

Seahawks guard J.R. Sweazy blocked Williams low, his helmet driving into the back of Williams' left knee. It was a perfectly legal block, which illustrates a perfectly ridiculous problem in the NFL right now.

Black will get at least a 20,000 fine for that hit, especially after strutting around like a thug rooster afterwards.
