I doubt practice squad money is as much as most people think it is. Its about 100 grand average assuming he stays on the squad the entire year for those who are released and then resigned it can be less than 50. Nice money, but I wouldnt say his financial worries are over.

$100k pretty sweet. But wasn't he on the roster week 1? I think that should make his contract guaranteed regardless. If I'm not mistaken that is. Gotta add a couple more k's if he's getting the league minimum.

yea thats true. I know Tampa has paid a couple of their practice squad players league minimum. I don't think their is a limit to how much you can pay a practice squad player. Some teams will pay a lot more just to entice other players to come play.

That Week 1 clause is for veterans. PS pay is $102,000 for everyone
