Boy, how is this for an ironic twist. The company that owns The Ticket is the same company that hired the jock who made fun of Steve Gleason. I don't get it?

Some people deserve second chances. Remember there was a guy who didn't want to participate in the mockery... though he didn't do anything to stop it. I don't know if this was the guy though.

To hell with that, they are all scum. Making fun of someone like they did is distastefull, unnecessary, and down tight sickening. No way ANY of them should be allowed a job in broadcasting again.

I wouldn't doubt if Gleason didn't have some input into the hiring. The incident, as awful as it seemed, gave Team Gleason a tremendous amount of publicity. Gleason met with him and forgave him for his involvement and he declared his commitment to assist the Team.

The Bible says we all have sinned. I believe in second chances. Now if he did it again,that would be a different story. Besides,what better place to go work after leaving Antlanta.

Steve has to spend each and every minute of his life trying to maintain his sense of humor or he would lose the mental battle. I know Steve is close to all of us, but it might help if we try and do the same. I am sure Steve has at least one moment a day when he laughs at him self, lets laugh with Steve instead of being hyper-sensitive to a Radio Station DJ... If you dont think it is hyper-sensitivity then answer this, does it piss you off then comedians mock Stephen hawking? Seriously that man has been mocked in movies, TV Shows, the Internet, by comedians....

This is a Radio Station DJ... Bad form is to be expected.

A whole crowd of people laughed at his joke, should they all be fired?

The fashionable hyper-sensitive political correctness that is taking over man kind is ruining life for all. What makes us laugh is usually something could be considered offensive to someone else. Ever watch America's Funniest Home videos and saw someone get smacked in the groin with a bicycle? You know you laughed, even if it was a commiserative wince and chuckle.


We were the fans of the Saints 2012 defense, there is no reason our sense of humor shouldn't be in full bloom. Steve doesn't want people pouring over him in compassionate sorrow; he wants to laugh while he can, when he can.
