this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Heard this on the broadcast and I know I can't be the only one. After Meachem's touchdown the PBP guy said the Saints had tried to trade for him while he was still with the Chargers. They said "no" and ...

We tried to trade for Meachem??
Heard this on the broadcast and I know I can't be the only one.
After Meachem's touchdown the PBP guy said the Saints had tried to trade for him while he was still with the Chargers. They said "no" and then turned around and cut him 2 weeks later. Have to wonder why the Chargers wouldn't have taken the deal and gotten at least something in return. |
