MCL sprain. Good news.

Dolphins' Cameron Wake likely out for Mon night

Dolphins DE Cameron Wake likely out 2-3 weeks with knee injury | Rotoinfo
The Miami Dolphins might be forced to play without two-time Pro Bowl pass rusher Cameron Wake for at least a week or two. Sources say a series of tests Wake underwent on Monday revealed "a mild" medial collateral ligament sprain in his left knee. The injury won't require surgery, but will likely sideline him two to three weeks.

Bears also lost their DT Henry Melton for the season.

Don't like cheering because of an injury but it does seem like the stars and planets are aligning themselves for us before we face a tough opponent.

Wow to both injuries... & one less headache (Cameron) to worry about.

Has anyone seen the Panthers roster...15 IR. They are looking worse than that laptop Cam threw out the window.

The Dolphins and their fans will get smacked back down to reality coming into the Dome on Monday Night Football. Thanks for embarrassing the Failclowns though!

Cameron wake is a beast of a pass rusher, this is good news for our O line

Every team, and I mean EVERY team, that has reached the SuperBowl has had some lucky breaks. So far this season the football gods are on our side and it's more important than folks know. With our Oline woes we could be one Cameron Wake sack away from Bree's getting injured. I'll take whatever advantage we can get through the games ahead.

Screw that. I want us to beat them when they're healthy. Just can't see rooting for anyone -other than Suh and Tom Brady to get dinged up.

I'll take all the good fortune we can get. Our Lombardi trophy needs some company... WHO DAT!!!

Wake is a beast; I wish him the best and hate seeing good players go down to injury.

BTW, Miami sacked Meg Ryan ZERO times and that's with ATL's terrible OL. ATL actually should have beaten Miami pretty badly all things considered, but the Phins rose up. Ha

How about waiting until we are 100% healthy before you go wishing for completely healthy opponents.

The way i see it, both teams have starters out thats as healthy as it needs to get.

Bad for them, good for us.

The news wasn’t as encouraging for defensive tackle Paul Soliai and cornerback Dimitri Patterson, however. Neither practiced despite warming up with the team.

And they just destroyed the Giants. I don't think the Gnats could beat an Arena football team right now...

Re: Cameron Wake probably out vs. Saints

@JamesWalkerNFL: #Dolphins DT Paul Soliai (knee) said in the locker room that he's making good progress. But he's still unsure of his status for Monday.

Re: Cameron Wake probably out vs. Saints

@JamesWalkerNFL: According the #Dolphins injury report, DT Paul Soliai, DE Cameron Wake, S Chris Clemons and LB Dannell Ellerbe were all limited in practice.

This season more than most will be one of success by least attrition. With the huge injury list of our own, it would be surprising if their star player's absence will be felt much.

While that is correct most of the time, it does have a lot to do with his position and purpose. Buckley went down and Jenkins filled in nicely with minimal loss of performance if any. If Cam Jordan's backup were to start the lack of pressure on the QB would make our defense look a lot different.

Wake is their QB pressure.
