Crowd noise in dome lacking
 

I heard Payton say for the second time today that the crowd noise in the dome has not been up to par. Actually he referred to it as just "ok". Even for the season opener he said it. I really hope people can show up and turn up the volume monday night.

I agree.... I couldn't hear myself think... and that place rocked!!! literally you could feel the cheering vibrate!!! Makes me want to get in at 8-0 or 9-0 game or even a playoff game!!!!

I think SP is just trying get us to crank it up another notch. I had to listen on Sirius radio and it sounded pretty loud. Whatever you need coach.

Pretty simple. Drop beer prices in the Dome. Instant volume. Saints fans are the loudest and proudest, there's no way anyone can beat us in noise. No chance. Challenge accepted, Sean.

You haven't been to Seattle. We have the potential, but don't live up to the billing. Last year I sat in what I believe was 141 and the spoiled fat cats there think it's below them to stand up and yell. You would get asked to sit down if you stood up too much and be told to not be rude if you yelled too loudly too often... like every defensive third down!

Seattle is the UN-disputed loudest bunch of fans and stadium in the league.

No asterisk needed. EVERY stadium in the NFL is different, only the field is the same. Not building it to where it amplified sound would be the stupid thing. Building it that way is the way a team should build their stadium so that you do always have that home field advantage.

I think we can agree on that. Every newly built stadium should incorporate that aspect into it's construction. Who wouldn't want to? Point is I don't disagree with the Seahawks fans being the loudest, but it doesn't change it is to some degree... an engineered sound.

I agree, especially on third downs. I guess Ariz burning 2 timeouts wasn't enough for SP. Seemed as loud as normal to me.

I couldn't hear the announcers on TV sometimes because it was so loud in the background.

Seen ticket prices this year? They are up 150-200 from last year for desirable seats. Stub Hub and NFL Exchange.

Maybe it's because everyone was mad about the stadium bag nazis confiscating everything, including things defined as legal on the NFL bag policy site. We got loud when it counted.

You use to get crowd noise from the Club and Plaza sections; you have a few really giving it there all; but the pricing to get to comparable rates and the corporatization (malaprop) of the stadium demographic has done this...Most of the crowds now are a bunch of Goodell Types with their Personal Assistants...

Many of my customers have told us that they refuse to purchase food, beverage, or liquor because of the gestapo tactics at the gates...

Even the gestapo would be embarassed to act like the NOPD that was guarding our gate. Once inside, my date had one beer, and at $9 said to heck with it. We didn't eat anything at all.
