Lance Moore injury rumor
 

So the gf went to the Lance Moore breast cancer thing tonight. Got to meet Stills, Lance, and Jordon. Said they were all awesome and really took time out to have a conversation with as many people as they could, not just a palm pressing thing.
Anyhow Lance said he has a hand injury and will be out for 3 weeks but its "top secret and hasnt been announced yet"
My guess is that its strategy but who knows. I doubt if it was top secret he would go around announcing it. She doesn't lie though so who knows whats up.

So from the Lance Moore charity event to the message boards in about 5 minutes. Thats how rumors get started.

Moore wasn't a big part of the offense. He has been disappointing so far this year, I say that as a fan of him. Stills and even Toon may get more playing time now which could be a good thing.

Most of the time the ball goes to Graham. Even Colston has not been as active this year, although he is money when he is. There is nothing wrong with Lances performance, they are just spreading the ball around.

Sucks if true but this is probably the one position where we can afford to lose somebody even if it's for a while.

All these injuries are getting to the point where the league probably needs to think about increasing roster sizes. It's a major problem for a lot of teams going back at least three years now. Maybe add 3 roster spots, or at least have 3 waiver-exempt spots on the practice squad. Something has to be done.

Lance, from what I recall, usually has a better 2nd half of the season. Him not getting the ball this early on isn't all that surprising. I'm a huge fan of him as well.

I have been thinking the same thing. They should have more spots where people waiting in the wings can get beamed up to the team, if a particular rash of injuries occurs.
