Schein says Saints' next opponent (Dolphins) are for real
I sure hope the media hypes up the 'Phins beyond belief... then have them meet the reality of playing the Saints on MNF. Dome will be rocking; defense will be pumped up. It might get UGLY real fast for Miami.
Sean Payton is 10-2 coaching the Saints on MNF. Ryan Tannehill-led Miami Dolphins set up for sustained success - NFL.com :bng: |
Re: Schein says Saints' next opponent (Dolphins) are for real
The Saints will need to play a complete game on both sides of the ball to win this one!
34-24 Saints |
Re: Schein says Saints' next opponent (Dolphins) are for real
Really? Every freakin' opponent is for real!

Every team we play is for real, from here on out.

one game at a time baby
one game at a time |
Re: Schein says Saints' next opponent (Dolphins) are for real
Not being cocky here, but I'm feeling this team. Tannehill is good, but so are Palmer & Ryan. This is all Saints, 34-10.

Re: Schein says Saints' next opponent (Dolphins) are for real
Gotta put early pressure on Tannehill, the Dome has to do it's part as well!

Re: Schein says Saints' next opponent (Dolphins) are for real
These ain't your daddy's Dolphins (1972) and they won't be going undefeated after Sunday, bet.
That's not taking anything away from them, they're gonna' give NE a run for their money, but if Can'tlanta got to Tannehill 5x, you gotta' figure Jordan/Galette are gonna' get to him a few times and worry him most the night. |
Re: Schein says Saints' next opponent (Dolphins) are for real
I'm not saying the Dolphins aren't any good but they don't have any players that scare me. Mike Wallace is a pretty good receiver, but he's not a real #1. Everybody else on their offense, including linemen are average at best.
And they just lost their best defensive player. Actually I see this team as very similar to the Cardinals. I think we'll probably trade punts for a while and stay relatively low-scoring but we should be able to win this game by 2 touchdowns. |
Re: Schein says Saints' next opponent (Dolphins) are for real
There is "good", and there is "better than the Saints". The Dolphins are not "better than the Saints".
What is there to debate? Way too many fans are looking at every single opponents offensive weapons and forgetting that this is not the 2012 Defense. You say you buy into it but you don't... Not really. You don't accept how good our Defense is until you look at a team like the Dolphins, Falcons, and Cardinals on offense and say.. "We got this". |
Re: Schein says Saints' next opponent (Dolphins) are for real
Does anyone remember when we started 5-0 with Wade Wilson at QB & everyone was singing our praises?
We then went 3-8 the rest if the season. Way too soon to anoint anyone - us included, as some awesome great team. |
Re: Schein says Saints' next opponent (Dolphins) are for real
The offenses vs. the defense will be a wash - This game will come down to special teams...

Re: Schein says Saints' next opponent (Dolphins) are for real
They are a decent team, a lot of grit but we win that battle as well. I'm not sure where they would have any real advantage other than parody in the NFL seems to strike a couple of times a week...Carolina blowing up a team with 15 players on IR, 49ers getting squashed like a bug in the ground...it happens.

Re: Schein says Saints' next opponent (Dolphins) are for real
It was a statement week like he said. Every week is a statement week. This one is in our house against a newly formed team. Experience should carry the day.
