He didn't do much, I think he was in on one QB hurry...

Didn't play much. Noticed him late-ish in the game, forced Palmer into a bad throw on third down. Saw him several times on special teams.

I think Payton has been easing him back from injury later on in the games

He had a good pressure on Palmer, he's been used sparingly for sure though.

Re: martez wilson

like everyone says he had a good pressure on Palmer, but he also is responsible for the only TD that ARZ had. On that play he had outside containment and was put on his azz which let the RB bounce it outside. I don't think he should be playing until that brace comes off. He looks un-easy and not very athletic with that bulky brace on his arm.

Good catch, I guess I kind of glossed over that part. I remember thinking at that point it was going to be a long day. guess I should've had more faith. LOL

Give him time to get acclimated back into the defensive rotation. By week 8 he will be a force that will 'harass and intimidate' opposing QB's.

Galette, healed faster and got right into the mix.... The more Tez heals up and gets used to the scheme, the more you'll see him flash. He did flash through with his pressure late...galette haralson Wilson should be awesome an awesome mix of getting to the qb.

Martez needs to put on some weight. Last year I noticed several games where he was constantly on the ground. Not good for a LB. And he gets pushed around easily by larger O-lineman or TEs. Now that Haralson guy I like.

If Butler is back by then this defense could really be fierce.

Tez is playing out of position. I'm firmly convinced that he would be much better on the inside.

There's a reason why you don't see a lot of tall skinny guys playing inside linebacker. One because it's hard to get any leverage, two because guys his size and speed are rare and can be used in a lot of different ways.

I'd love to see him used in nickel/dime stuff where he can set up to rush the QB or drop back and cover a tight end. He's probably one of the few guys in the whole league with the physical ability to cover a Graham/Gronk/Gonzo, etc.

Except we haven't seen him in coverage ever?! Lofton could be better against the pass for all anyone knows...

Wilson's the most awesome specimen of man-meat on the team. He and MI should be inducted now.

Once again, Xan is spot on with his unique insight and analysis of the players.

That's the play that stood out in my mind also.

I like Wilson and think he should see a lot of playing time in our base 34 defense but he needs to sit until he is 100 percent healthy.
