No game is ever easy. Its the preparation each team does that determines the outcome. In the end it will come down to which team wants it more. The Dolphins have been living in the shadow of their former undefeated superbowl team for a long time and look to make a statement this year that says "we are the better team" on the other hand the Saints were humiliated by the commissioner and coach Payton is determined to turn this team around so he can hoist that trophy and show the one whose name is forbidden to speak here that they cant keep a good team down. This should be a great game, but I still give the edge to the Saints. The Saints defense is ranked 5th overall and they are going up against an offense that is ranked 28th in rushing and 14th in passing. The Saints offense is ranked 16th overall and 4th in passing as well as 6th in yards per game. The dolphins are ranked 8th on defense with a pass defense ranking of 21st in the league. Since we rarely get positive yards on the ground and the Dolphins focus mainly on the run with their record being 18th against the run, statistically speaking if each team continues on their current path the Saints should post at least 35 points to the Dolphins 24, but if the saints score their average it will be a close game. Final score 24 to 27 Saints over Dolphins.
