Might have been the extra little bit of circumstance of info Payton needed to pull the trigger. I am sure he enjoys sticking it to Parcells every chance he gets just for old times sake. I wonder what would happen if he and Parcells got the band back together in some capacity. I for one was hoping he would be our interim last year.

I think Miami has a bigger reason to hate the Saints. That would be the last game we played against them in 2009. Remember that one? They jumped on us big time in the first half in what looked like would be a runaway win for them. Brees and Payton show their brass testicles and go for it on 4th down right before the half. Brees scores, finger rolls the ball through the uprights and Uncle Mo pays a visit. We go on to embarrass them in the 2nd half, keyed by Reggie's poetic flight from the 5-yard line to the pylon. That was the game that legitimized the Saints Super Bowl run in my opinion to be able to come back from that deficit and still win in convincing fashion. Let's make them our ***** again this year, too.

Suck it Miami. If you wanted Jimmy Graham in the draft, you should have sucked more the year before and received an earlier pick.
