Saints vs Roll Tide Odds

Interesting article on possible odds on the Denver Broncos vs AlaBAMA. I would guess in the Dome Saints/Broncos may be a pickem. In Denver the Broncos would most likely be a 3 point or so favorite.

So I'm putting Saints at about -38 or a bit higher if they were to play the Tide.

"If the Broncos played the Alabama Crimson Tide, the consensus top team in every poll and the two-time defending national champions, the spread would be set at minus-40.5 or higher, according to one oddsmaker."

Really? There is not and never has been a post WWII college team that would stand up to a pro team. The Jaguars would slaughter the tide or anyone else in the top ten, let alone a good pro team.

Agreed but would the Jags run it up? This is more of a Vegas gambling question. It would be fun to watch the line.

BTW, the Jags biggest player is 6'3" and 324lbs. The Tide's is 6'6" and 385lbs.

+1. This would be the most one sided NFL game ever ... that is probably why there isn't but a handful of college linemen who leave school early for the pros. Games are won & lost in the trenches. Weight, speed & technique are all attributes needed at the NFL level.

I Think the Jags would probably beat them by atleast 40. Broncos or the Saints by more than 60.
