The only thing I'm enjoying about the rankings of late is how far the failcones have fallen - not that it matters of course, but it's still fun to watch.

In defense of the Falcons (who probably should consider playing some better defense), their three losses have come against teams with a combined record of 11-1. Their next four opponents -- the Jets, Tampa Bay, Arizona and Carolina -- boast an overall mark of 5-10.

They might win 4 in a row and then they will think they are great sitting at 5-3. Meanwhile we'll be 8-0.

This makes more sense. Saints/Seahawks/Lions at home would all be favored against any team. Thus power ranking are fun but useless.

Those rankings are totally fraudulent. Minnesota at 21 and the Rams at 22? What has this guy been smoking, both those teams should be way farther down the list. They're awful, especially the Rams.
