... which reminds me, I've been going to Hooter's when the Saints/Lions play at the same time on Sundays to watch both games and didn't realize they had changed the menu to offer more flavors of wings, similar to Buffalo Wild Wings ... so, I've been mauwing down mostly on the 'cajun' flavor and think they're pretty darn good. They're not your typical carpet-bagger cajun where they just dump hot sauce on the wings & call it a day, they actually have a nice seasoning of salt/pepper, adobo? and other secret ingredients which gives them, to me anyway, a real bayou feel/taste,.

So anyway, if any of you real Cajuns get around to it or just happen to be in a Hooter's, I'd like some feedback as to the authenticity of their cajun-flavor claim or if it's just another sneaky, industry trick to get me into the place ... as if girls serving chicken wings wearing uniforms 1x/2x too small doesn't accomplish that already,.

SloMo, you need to find you a Twin Peaks to watch the games and try their pull pork nachos, and by the way their uniforms are 3x too small:grin:

WingStop here in Houston has a Cajun Rub flavor that I think is the best flavor they offer. It's a dry seasoned wing. No Hot Sauce or anything.

It is a little known fact that during the early/mid 1800's settlers from both the Seattle & Indianapolis regions turned their wagons southeast in search of an ideal place to locate their coffee shops and build a major motor speedway. Unaccustomed and frustrated by the intense humidity and large number of senior citizens they encountered in Florida, they gave up their search and having exhausted their resources, settled in the small area of West Palm Beach, Lake Worth and northward.

These early settlers brought their love of the Seahawks/Colts to the region and many of their descendants carry on their football traditions to this day.

... it coulda' happened,.

I was gonna bail on football right after the Saints game is over, and go see ZZ Top, but if that storm is gonna be sitting right on top of us, they might become ZZ "Op-tional" instead of ZZ "Top-tional." I love me some Billy Gibbons and ZZ, but if it's gonna be an outdoor show in a hurricane, tropical storm, or meandering typhoon, then some wings and that Texans-Niners game at home on the couch suddenly sounds pretty darn good.
