That list sucks and not because of where Ambush was placed but the Catch isn't the greatest play of all time

If I remember correctly, it always was #1 on these kind of lists, eh? Must be a new generation of list-makers taking over.

My favorite is #19, Dempsey goes the Distance ... that was about when I started paying attention to the Saints,

Yeah, and old guys like tend to think that stuff that happened when they were kids is greater than stuff that happened more recently. (Not to say that it isn't.)

Me too! It remains one of the longest standing significant records in sports. As a kid, I was moved by his disabilities turned advantage too.

Like a blind musician or a deaf painter.

Notice it is one of the few on this list that is not a playoff game of some kind. Just a midseason game by a less than average team. (we only won one other game that year) against a 5-2 contender.

I screamed and ran around the living room with my arms in the air screaming at the top of my 8 year old lungs.

I Love "Ambush" being on the list - i think I did the same thing - only I was in my late 40s. Still love that it was the punter that kicked it.

Don't care much about what order they fall in.

I wonder if Carney had made the extra point after the "River City Relay" it
would have made the list.

Still one of my favorite moments. In many ways the fact the extra point as shanked somehow makes the play more ummm... fitting into the Saints history.
