this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Plain and simple we had the ball twice with a little over 2 min left in the game and we did nothing with it. We should have run the ball on the 2nd down before we punted vs. throwing it. ...

Plain and simple we had the ball twice with a little over 2 min left in the game and we did nothing with it. We should have run the ball on the 2nd down before we punted vs. throwing it. We also should have ran the clock down and taken the -5 yrd on the punt. We could have also not thrown the guy out of bounds on the Pats last drive. WE had a lot of mistakes in the game that hurt us. Yes the refs didn't help but we also didn't help ourselves with this game.
