Damn. I thought Congress took a break from the Budget/Default mess to make it a capital crime to have a power ranking. I was looking forward to public evisceration of the creators and promoters of drek.

2. New Orleans Saints (5-1, LW: 4)
Their Dec. 2 game at Seattle might decide the NFC title. I can't see either team losing in the playoffs at home, and whoever wins on Dec. 2 will probably get the No. 1 seed.

The trick is to go through all of them and pick the one where the Saints are highest. Let's stick with Yahoo for now since it helps our morale and we can be ready yelling in the Dome.

IIRC the Saints won a Super Bowl when they were ranked No.5 so maybe we should roll with it. Can't wait to see this week's game: Buffalo at No.5 New Orleans.

BTW I like the Saints chance of winning it all better than ESPN's NFL journalists' chance of winning a Pulitzer.

It's nonalcoholic beer, rice cakes, bacon flavored to-fu; it's predicting the Super Bowl winner with Madden... mock-drafts are more accurate.

Well I was mostly joking about the morale but they are interesting to me nonetheless. So are mock drafts and rice cakes. And almost anything with bacon flavor.
