So you say you're a moderator?

As a newcomer i\'m a bit lost with this handle. Is the function because of status within the forum? number of posts? are you employees of the company that owns the site? I assume you exist to keep an eye on content, but what else does the role confer upon you. Next time I\'ll keep my questions about this sort of stuff on the other board.Thanks

Moderators are Cyber Cops .

The end result changes though , instead of locking you in a room we lock you out of one if you do not play nice .....
