Jenkins’ fine apparently reversed
Apparently, New Orleans Saints safety Malcolm Jenkins’ fine for an alleged illegal hit on New England Patriots receiver Kenbrell Thompkins was rescinded or reduced after an appeal Tuesday.
“Happy that the @nfl changed their minds on my fine. … good call. Now I can enjoy my day off,” tweeted Jenkins, who was fined $15,750 for the hit last week. Jenkins also drew a 15-yard penalty for the hit, which looked like a borderline call on replay reviews. Jenkins appeared to contact Thompkins’ facemask with his shoulder. But it caused Thompkins’ helmet to whip around to the side, which looked more egregious in live action. New Orleans Saints safety Malcolm Jenkins fine apparently reversed - ESPN |

Its about time the nfl makes a right call

Re: Jenkins’ fine apparently reversed
He shouldn't have been flagged in the first place, they should really be able to challenge those flags...

Re: Jenkins’ fine apparently reversed
Flags and fines do not go hand in hand... There have been numerous fines handed out for hits with no flags thrown.

Re: Jenkins’ fine apparently reversed
Our Kommisar is such an idiot.....he never should have handed out that fine. He's out to get the Saints.

Re: Jenkins’ fine apparently reversed
It was a horrible call, anyway. The league really needs to look at what they are trying to do here. It seems to me that more people are getting hurt not less.
