Lance Moore Returns
1 Attachment(s)
Saints wide receiver Lance Moore, who missed the last three games with an injured hand, returned to the practice field and fully participated in Wednesday’s workout.
Moore, one of the most reliable offensive targets, caught four passes for 44 yards before injuring his hand in the third game of the season, a 31-7 victory over Arizona. His return comes none too soon, quarterback Drew Brees said, considering Sunday’s opponent. “Lance is a guy who can play all over the field,” Brees said. “He’s probably the best overall route runner (on the team). Re: Lance Moore Returns
This is a big return for the Saints. Moore gives us more room to throw more passes for more TDs. He's a robot route runner receiver. And always seems to get open.

Re: Lance Moore Returns
I can't believe it was only 3 games...it felt like 12. Thank God he's back. The O is much better with him cutting up the middle of the field. Throw the bombs to Stills and Toon.

Re: Lance Moore Returns
this is huge. Drew has faith in lance. him being out cost us the new england game IMO. Drew does not have faith in the young bucks and he was hesitant to throw the ball. with lance he will check down and let it rip |
Re: Lance Moore Returns
Drew didn't look hesitant on the bomb to Stills but maybe I was watching the wrong game, its great that Lance is back since he can keep the safeties honest with crossing routes which should open the deep ball and running lanes

Re: Lance Moore Returns
Welcome back Lance !!! Can't wait to see you out on the field.
|
Re: Lance Moore Returns
I just hope we don't run him in routes over the middle throwing tall passes - Drew usually completes Pick Sixes when that happens...

every year Lance has those couple of games were he is the man. the Pats game had his name written all over it. |
Re: Lance Moore Returns
i was really bummed to see Lance out on the Pats game. it's a prototypical showcase game for him.
i agree...him in that game and we would have won it handily. |
Re: Lance Moore Returns
Great to hear he is back with us again!
Drew will be glad to get one of his main weapons back on the field where they belong! GEAUX SAINTS!!! :-) |

Re: Lance Moore Returns
I would not be surprised if Drew threw it to Moore on the first play from scrimmage

Re: Lance Moore Returns
Lance, Lance, Bo-Bance, Bananafana-fo-Fance, Fee, Fi, Fomace...LAAAANCE!

Re: Lance Moore Returns
He will definitely impact the game. You know he's chomping at the bit to get out there.

Re: Lance Moore Returns
I'm happy to see my boy back now I hope to see him and Colston get back to playing the boy we they can play.

Re: Lance Moore Returns
Actually Lance has struggled in the bigger games. Games at Carolina, Green Bay, Denver, vs Philadelphia, at Atlanta, at Dallas were not his best games last year while he did well against redskins, chiefs, at bucs, at raiders, at giants, vs bucs, and panthers and okay against falcons. So idk how he would have done at NE considering his most recent road games of that magnitude.

Re: Lance Moore Returns
Two things I love about Lance:
1. SWAG.... It's sorta like what "Mike Bell" did for the offense in 2009... When he came in and made a play here or there it felt like he kick started the offense. That's what I get from Lance when he makes a defender look silly, gets in that endzone and starts dancing OMG you know we are in business. 2. Hands..... This is the worst injury that could have happened to Lance IMO. The dude just has a knack for catching passes. What ever is in the vicinity. You throw it his way and many times just turn your head because you already know it's a first down!!! |
Re: Lance Moore Returns
Another target just opens the field to more plays.
