I think you might want to revisit the box scores from 2009.
The first 2 games were dominating but after that majority of the games were close until 4th qtr.
Bills were 10-7 until 4th
Jets 17-14 until 4th
Mia we were losing 24-34 until 4th
Atl was 28-21 until 4th
Stl was tied at half
Wash tied 17-17 at half after Meachem play and down 20-27 in the 4th
Atl second game was only 16-9 at half
So I don't know if I would say we dominated teams in 2009 we just outplayed them in the 4th qtr.

I agree. People remember the 09 team as dominating. They dominated against the Lions, Giants, Pats, Bucs and people remember that but the majority of games that season were fairly close until the end. On the whole the 2011 team may have been more impressive.

I am fairly certain this team isn't as good as either of those, but we are 6-1 with plenty of room to improve and there's no other team in the league right now where you can look at them and say they are significantly better.

What team were they watching in 2009? We were good but not 3 TD lead 40 burgers all day long good.

The Offense isn't as powerful this year but we are a better team because our defense is light years better.

If the offense starts coming around a little more I will agree with you. You know you're in pretty good shape when the team is 6-1 and hasn't really played a complete game yet.
