Let's deal with stark reality. The Saints match up EXCEPTIONALLY well with us. Add to that the Bengals just gave the blue print on how to hammer us. Oh, and let's not forget that the Saints 3rd/4th receivers are better than what we field at number 1. I'm not in the slightest deluded to think that we have much of a shot in hell. I will watch...until half time at least to see what it looks like. I watched every snap of the Bills/Saints game last week and that team looked "off" and they STILL rang up 35 points. No, I have little faith...if they at the very least looked competitive against Cincy I might think differently...but what I saw on Sunday was a straight out heartless and listless performance from men who are paid to play the game. Coach my ass...if millionaires need a coach to "pump" them up then they need a new profession. That was disgusting and I see no reason why it doesn't continue this weekend against a FAR superior team.

I read that entire thread, some of the comments were flat out hilarious. I was thinking of copying and pasting some of them over here but didn't want to start a new thread. Thx Smashmouth. And the rest of you if you wanna kill some time and have a few chuckles go read it.

I'm constantly amazed that they think Gang Green (gangrene) is a good nickname to be proud of. Gangrene is a disgusting condition where your skin and tissue starts to die and rot on you. It spreads like a plague and will kill you unless you burn it out (essentially).

So kinda like during Tebow-mania.

Jets fans, Jets Team, Jets Coach, even their alternating W/L are all a mixed bag.

The only consistent thing about the Jets is inconsistency.

Agreed. Withe the two brothers coaching there is going to be more fire on both sides than you see in a usual non conference matchup. We are knd of beat up. If Stills an Colston and Graham are banged up enough to slow them down we dont have the running game to compensate. Evans potentially sitting out could make the situation worse.

The more I think about this game the more I think its nearly impossible for the Jets to win, on paper. Drew would have to have one of his 3 interception games and the Jets would have to score a couple TD's on special teams and defense to even have a chance.

I know anything can happen, like the 0-8 Rams kicking our asses a couple years ago, but I just don't see that happening Sunday.

I think its a blow-out.

Saints 38, Jets 17.
