It's My Fault The Saints Lost This Week

I confess... and ask for forgiveness, for thine is the power!

I was in the NE area, Manchester NH to be more specific, in the JETS backyard for the game this weekend. The very same thing happened for the Pats loss. I was in Hartford and Newport for that game. When I boarded the plane yesterday for the return trip, I tried so hard to not pay attention to any TV or comments; I wanted to watch the game later on DVR. Then the flight attendant saw me in my Saints jacket as I was boarding ...and he said to me: WTF, the JETS man? Then I knew.... I KNEW it was my fault. I even said smashmouth would win the game.

Sorry, my fellow Who Dats!

I have two other trips planned in the NorthEast, but thankfully we do not play an opponent from those parts. But I still fear another loss as the pattern has been set. Please be kind! :bng:

I KNEW we couldn't count in you when you posted that "SmashMouth football" thread. Why didn't you tell us you were going there dude? I would have personally paid off the cab driver.

Shame on SmashMouth.

Finally, the culprit confesses. There is a special place in hell for you -- but your confession means it will be a few degrees cooler.

Nice job. Did you bring us beer?

I'll take some of the heat off of you.

It is my WIFE'S fault for this Sunday. She threw away my Magic Pajama Pants (MPP) earlier this week without my knowledge and I was forced to watch the game in some Un-Mojo'ed, non-battle-tested pair of inferior pajama pants. My bad, and she is sorry.

Sorry to hear that Barry. Don't be too hard on her though. You two aren't broken, just bent and you can learn to love again.

Healing is a slower process considering this newest level of ultimate Saints mojo betrayal. If Smash Mouth could just stay at the freakin' house on Sundays and the wife leaves my freakin' stuff alone, we'll all be set. ;)

Naw, it's my fault. I didn't wear my saints pajamas like I pulled them down to take a #2 on NE final drive

You need to renegotiate your contract and either place travel restrictions on Away games or have said travel include tickets to the game so you can properly influence the outcomes ... had you been in attendance, we undoubtedly woulda' won those two,.

Don't even think of getting close to Dallas this week or I'll come after you with a 2x4
