Re: Where the Saints rank: Week 10
Yeah, cause Demarcus Ware coming off of an injury is a lot better than a healthy Mario Williams....

Again , in 09 a lot was made of Wares neck injury and that he probably wasn't going to be ready to face the Saints. Not only did he play he ate Bushrods lunch all game long and ended the last saints drive with a sack on Brees. You think Charlie Brown is better than Bushrod? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |
Re: Where the Saints rank: Week 10
DEs are not our biggest problem. Peppers did nothing. Oddly enough DTs give us hell.
Falcons Sacks - 2 DT, 0 LB, 0 DE Bucs Sacks - 1 DT, 1 LB, 1 DE Cardinals Sacks - 0 DT, 1 LB, 3 DE Dolphins Sacks - 1 DT, 0 LB, 1 DE Bears Sacks - 1 DT, 0 LB, 0 DE <-- Peppers Patriots Sacks - 0 DT, 0 LB, 1 DE Bills Sacks - 1 DT, 0 LB, 2 DE Jets Sacks - 0 DT, 1 LB, 1 DE DT- 6 LB- 3 DE- 9 (3 were for Dockett, he has had only 1 other sack this season) Mario had 1 sack against us. Its 2013... 4 years later. |

Also how many quality DE are there like Ware. Don't forget he was a LB in years past so he can play different roles in different formations. Do not underestimate the dark side of the force. |
Re: Where the Saints rank: Week 10
Defensive Ends Rankings highlighted are the ones we have faced and their sack count against us.
Top J.J. Watt, Cameron Jordan, DeMarcus Ware, Cameron Wake, Muhammad Wilkerson(1 sack) , Justin Smith Next Level Calais Campbell (0-sacks), Robert Quinn, Chris Long, Charles Johnson, Greg Hardy, Julius Peppers (0- sacks, Jared Allen Pro-Bowl Potential Sheldon Richardson, Lamarr Houston, Chandler Jones (1-Sack), Fletcher Cox, Carlos Dunlap, Michael Johnson, Desmond Bryant, Ezekiel Ansah, Cliff Avril You can spend the rest of the week fretting over DeMarcus Ware, I am not... He will get one sack and that will be how it goes. DEs and sacks are not our offensive lines biggest problem. DTs and LBs shooting the gaps and tackling our RBs in the back field is. |
Re: Where the Saints rank: Week 10
We rush for 80 yards a game? I had no idea.
|
Re: Where the Saints rank: Week 10
80 yards against most NFL defenses is a pretty tough thing to accomplish if you apply the light of reality to the conversation.
most of us would have -800 yards, in comparison. |
