Re: Saints RBs
A weighted formula that combines sacks, hits, and hurries relative to how many snaps a RB stays in to pass protect.
Hits and hurries are 3/4 the value of a sack. Collins has allowed the most with 3 total pressures out of 86. Khiry was in 6 passing plays allowing no pressures. Thomas,Collins, and Sproles have allows 1 sack each Ingram has allows 1 hit. |

3 pressures out of 86 snaps? That's a lot of passing plays that Collins did his job pretty dang well. I'm still not ready to totally forgive him for dropping that pass last game (cold hands?), but Jedidiah certainly does a lot more good things than bad out there |
Re: Saints RBs
We are not as bad as a lot of people think we are in relation to the rest of the league.
Our Offensive Line ranks 4th in the league in Pass Blocking Efficiency, 7th in total pressures allowed, 6th in Hurries Allowed, 8th in hits allowed, tied for 21st in Sacks allowed, and 12th in passing plays run. When you look at other teams in relation they have a lot more QB hits than we do even though we have more sacks... Drew doesn't chunk it out of bounds as often. Here is a comparison Drew Brees Sacks 14 hits 11 Matt Ryan Sacks 9 hits 21 |
