Photo Trivia: Cowboys Rocked by the Saints in 2006
I asked this in a post from yesterday, but here is more about the unknown fullback who scored three times against the Cowboys in 2006.
The Saints would eventually head to the NFC Championship Game in 2006 thanks to stars such as Drew Brees, Deuce McAllister, Reggie Bush, and Marques Colston. Heading into this game, both teams were 8-4 and riding hot streaks. The Cowboys had to figure out how to slow down these skill players to have any chance to beat New Orleans. The problem was that when the Saints got down inside the 5 on more than one occasion, the Cowboys forgot to cover the fullback. This fullback scored twice in the first half and yet another time in the third quarter. The Saints won in a blowout, 42-17. Here’s a puzzle with the player: Photo Trivia: Dallas Cowboys Rocked by the Saints in 2006*|*Know Your Dallas Cowboys |

Yeah, it was Karney. Remember that game well. Loved the look on Parcell's face. The teacher was schooled by the pupil that night!

One of my favorite games from the Payton/Brees era that isn't from the 2009 season

That game was awesome. I think just about every player on the offense got involved. Devery had that long bomb, Reggie the amazing screen pass touchdown where he had a convoy downfield and made a cutback move right at the end. Deuce pounding them all through the 4th quarter. Colston and Karney had big plays. I think even the 5th string WR, can't remember his name started with a J, had a long touchdown. I remember people were actually mad saying that we were showing the Cowboys up by kneeling on the goal line. LOL. I still have that game on a burned DVD somewhere. Need to fish it out.
