I didn't say easy holes and 10 yards of space before he gets hit by the 1st guy!
How in the hell did you read that?

Yeah you did
If the O-line opens up decent holes for him, he'll play well.
what, he cant see where to run if he doesnt have a clear 3-4 play hole?
RB's make their own holes, hit a brick wall and fail, then step up and find a way to beat the defense with forsight, moves, and timing. None of which MI has shown, unless he has a well defined easy hole to run threw.
PT has shown that he dosnt need the OL alot of times. PT is not elite, but hes a serious RB.

You think B.sanders with his OL with the lions cared that they were the worst in the NFL? Some have it some dont. MI has alot to prove, and at that moment hes no RB, because no one is even marginally afraid of him. Truthfully defenses are probably relieved when MI is in.
Real simple, you run MI and he cost us more 3rd downs, Im not going to be happy. Do it or get off the field.

Saints proved that pigs could fly in 2009.
Now its time for another miracle SuperBowl and go where no pig has gone before.

Its easy to spin partial stats... Put the faith on the line and predict.
Those teams allow, on average....

49ers 3.9 y/a
falcons 4.6 y/a
Seattle 4.2 y/a
Panthers 3.8 y/a
Rams 4.2 y/a
Bucs 3.8 y/a

The individual games can skew numbers e.g.. were the Saints ahead and the other teams were expecting the run... were rushes up the middle being used to set up play action or screens to the flat...etc...etc...

But you'd think he and the other running backs could be close to those numbers overall.

Last time I called a 100+ yard game we had it, and I was called out and spit roasted. Ive never come across people so angry about success.

Lol we'll be fine ... If we can run even half as good we'll raise a few more Lombardi trophies before Drew hangs em up ... If we do it right , we should be a dynasty ... All we've ever been missing was a defense and a running game and still won one without either ...

Re: NEW Mark Ingram thread (post Dallas)

I'm just glad to see some signs of life with Ingram. I'm hopeful he can continue to run well but at the same time, I'm not holding my breathe. I would love to have 3 effective backs going into the stretch run and into the playoffs. This is a vital point in his career as a New Orleans Saint and will play a big part on whether or not he'll be here in the future. I wish him the best.

It's just one game but if he continues to play like this and the line gives him room to run, he'll be out of here with a big contract on another team. If he plays like a garden variety RB, he'll be replaced. The only way I see him on the team in the future is if he remains average.

Edit: when does the NEW Mark Ingram thread come out?

Maybe, maybe not PT had 3 more carries then ingram and barely had half the yards as Ingram, i think KR can run but he has horrible ball skills until he can learn to take better care of the ball he wont be running when ingram is active, maybe ingram got a lucky game or maybe hes finally healthy who knows till next game
