Question Defense solid , injuries taking their toll

The Will smith less , Keyon Colman less , Victor Butler less , Kenny Vaccaro less , Patrick Robinson less , and now Jabari Greer less saints are now an astounding 8-2. What's more is the fascinating is how close they are to being perfect ( record wise ).

Assuming Drew Brees remains himself we all saw the offense being a dynamic group , however the story for the saints is it's top 5 defense. Rob Ryan has more than done his fair shake at getting the worst defensive unit of all time some respect around the league. But one has to truly wonder ? When are all the injuries going to start taking a toll ?

Long story short we need a corner ... Asomugha ?

You Can't Say Impossible without first saying Im Possible ...

Man injuries on this short week suck. Jabari will be out for the season unfortunately.

I haven't been impressed with Carr at all but looks like we're going to need him to step up in a big way. I'm also hoping Rob can find a way to schematically use the depth at safety (Jenkins, Harper, Vacarro, Bush, Quddus) to weather the storm at CB. He's been doing great so far so I will stay positive until I see otherwise!

I also think this will be great for White's long-term development who is the CB2 of the future (well and now the present).

Carr's exactly what you want for a 4th or 5th CB. He can stop the bleeding if needed and plays special teams well.

What is the timeline for getting these guys back? Is Greer officially done?

Greer seemed to be struggling and getting turned around the last couple of years.
Since the naggings started nagging him, he hasn't been the same in coverage.
I think we will be OK covering his contributions, but we can't keep losing pieces.
