I have parallax disorder- blown safety call?

Maybe I'm a homer, maybe I'm a hater, too. But can anyone get presnap and in the grasp photos that will justify the "way outside of the pocket" call that should have sealed the game?

***** about the WWF headslam call, but this and other calls went bad for the Saints.

Are you talking about Kaepy's intentional-grounding non-call? "Way out of the pocket" was an exaggeration, but they did somewhat justify the call by showing he technically was a step or two outside of his tackle (Staley) in the replays ... it was a  moment.

that was splitting hairs on that call. the nfl was not going to let a game like this be decided by a call like that. i have played it over and over and the best i can see at the very most 1/2 of his body was outside box.

The Non-Call Safety was the right call; frustrating, but can live with it just as...

...I can live with the Brooks-Brees Collision; correct rules call, but I thought Brooks made a great play - so glad we didn't try to claim Brooks in 2008...

It was the right call . He clotheslined Brees We were lucky ,had he made a legal hit ,game over.

Well for the whiners, and for us the refs did a phenomenal job of putting the win or loss of the game in the hands of either team. The two most crucial calls are a moot when you look at them.

Was it splitting hairs? You judge here...

I saw the replay on NFL Network and took a pic.

He definitely is within the hash marks. Whether it is a safety is rather close to determine. The Whiners in their forum all thought it was a safety.

Bird's-eye-view from above says it should have been a safety. That was the consensus even among 49er fans in the stands, but some calls went their way and some ours…

It was an epic WIN, and S.F. no longer OWNS us.

Yeah, I would have thought the hash mark would be more a determining factor than the O/T's position at the time of the safety ... pockets do collapse, ... but it worked out for all involved ... Saints won, BWW made a few extra dollars on the stiff drink I needed to get through the game and I got a pretty decent roller coaster ride without having to purchase a ticket to Cedar Point, OH,.

True, and I think a birds eye view would also reveal that on Corey Whites fumble, the ball actually flew out of bounds outside of the pylon, placing the ball at about the 1 foot line.
