I remember watching this game, I was in the 11th Grade and was livid because I knew this was the year we would outright smash The '9ers. Yeah, those two calls were so bad they had to go with replay going forward. What I remembered was the officials back then had to request a replay otherwise the play stood.

The replay official was fired 2 weeks later.

But there wasn't a blown call in this last game so I'm not sure Karma applies.

I was also in high school and after this game I cut my mullet. Haven't gone back to it since although I'm considering it again. ;)

some of us are old enough to remember older bad calls than the one featured in this thread.

My buddy is a San Fran homer and he's going nuts, he doesn't get that in today's nfl you can't just tomahawk chop a qb and not get a call...that should be clear at this point. Regardless, they are living up to their fortywhiner moniker.
