Forty Whiners Complain About Bad Calls
some of us are old enough to remember the decades of "bad calls" during the montana, jerry rice years.
karma must be a beotch... have a cold serving of revenge, niner nation. hey 40whiners, kiss my (_!_) in other words. nice kicker, saints! some of us have always had faith. 2dat! |
Re: Forty Whiners Complain About Bad Calls
I remember Jerry Rice fumbling a ball about two yards short of the end zone and it got called a touchdown and we lost by 3 or 4 points. Was that the 2000 season, maybe. I think we were still in the NFC West.

Re: Forty Whiners Complain About Bad Calls
Listening to the radio out here this morning (sadly I live in the Bay Area), and the commentators were doing their best to spin it positive - like hey, we went in to a difficult place to play and nearly won.
They weren't putting too much stock in the "bad call" theory and the show hosts, at least, were of the same mind we are: Look, it was a brutal hit, and it's a shame that's a penalty, but it IS a penalty. They're also trying really hard to not be too down to Kapernic (sp), but a few more craptastic games and the heat is really going to be on him...and maybe even the HC, since he essentially ran off Smith, who is clearly a better QB. On another note: The radio guys out here were REALLY give the Saints their due, both before and after the game. One guy even said, and I quote, "That place [The Superdome] is the hardest place to play in the NFC, Seattle included..." Everyone else agreed. They also think we're going to beat Seattle in a few weeks, or at least that there is no other team in the NFL with a better chance of beating Seattle at home than the Saints. |

I think the refs may have made a call or two in our favor, but hell it's about time. That never happens. They may have given us a good spot or two but nothing game changing. They just don't like being on the wrong side of the coin for once.

This is a better angle.
Last I checked, this is what's called a clothesline swing. Been outlawed in the NFL since mid 1970's. http://i.imgur.com/MbnEDR3.gif |
Re: Forty Whiners Complain About Bad Calls
We complained about the bad calls in the NE game this year. It's frustrating to know you should have won but didn't. Not so sure the 49ers would have won even if Willis recovered a fumble. Saints would have won if the holding call was caught.

Re: Forty Whiners Complain About Bad Calls
I'll be glad to trade you pukes that roughing the passer for a grounding in the end zone.
You still lose, just 22-20 instead. Grow up whiners. Just like the Queens in the NFCCG, you're trying to live on coulda woulda shoulda... |
Re: Forty Whiners Complain About Bad Calls
If the 49ers don't care for the calls, they need to call Rodger. We can't help em and we don't care.
|
Re: Forty Whiners Complain About Bad Calls
They should direct just as much vitriol toward that anemic sack of hot garbage they call an offense.

Re: Forty Whiners Complain About Bad Calls
I think the whole "controversy" is basically a deflection.
If we didn't hand them 17 plus points on stupid unforced errors, the 49ers lose by 3 scores, if not more. I think they're having a very difficult time admitting that their once dominant defense is now simply good, and their heir to the Montana/Young throne is nothing more than a one year wonder who has been exposed by quality coordinators who have figured out his strengths/weaknesses. I'm elated to tell you its most likely gonna get worse. You have a whiny coach that isn't doing himself any favors with the league or the officials. A perfect coach for your whiny ass fanbase. I'm enjoying this train wreck more than you pompous elitist ass hats could ever imagine. https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/i...PYYyxqFa1KBxqe |
Re: Forty Whiners Complain About Bad Calls
On the Harbaugh interview today, a reporter asked him how players on their team are graded for penalties. He said that if players draw a penalty they get a minus. Then the reporter asked if Brooks got a minus. Harbaugh said, no he didn't. Then he goes on to explain that that is just how it looked to him -- that it was a good hit. Then he says coaches probably shouldn't say things like that because this isn't Nascar.
What a douche. <eyeroll> |

Sorry, Papa, I'm not yelling at you. But, this sh*t is just ridiculous. And, if I hear one more word from a freaking 9er fan, I will be forced to punch him in the mouth or the throat, whichever, they seem to be fine with the latter. |

SFB - Spoiled dang Brats. I feel conflicted that I'm enjoying the 49ers whining and crying just as much as the actual victory itself. Is that wrong of me? |
